Foil Method - Simple Proof and Quick Alternative Method

You probably have used the foil method in Elementary and High-school math class but you may not know quite why it works. Well the proof is quite simple and it involves just considering the multiplication as an Area of a rectangle. Also in the video, I show a very quick method to foil out very complex equations and it involves creating a simple table and is very easy to memorize. If you don't know the foil method inside and out, then this video is a must watch since you'll have to use the foil method in almost every math, engineering, physics class.

It's an extended version of the distributive property.
(a + b)(c + d)
a(c + d) + b(c + d)
I like this rectangle proof very much for proving the distributive property. I've seen an algebraic proof for it though and I didn't like it.

yeah it's part of the distributive property. I just like calling it the foil method cuz you "foil" stuff lol. but yeah i just learned the proof a couple days ago and i like how simple it is!

You stutter a LOT, and you slur your words. Also, at the end of most sentences, your voice goes down and becomes squeaky. But other than that, great video! It helped me alot. BTW it is the Dist. Prop. but it's when u SQUARE something and want to distribute it. O and u should explain more.
