I’ve worked in both strict time budgets and now in timelines that evolve or really don’t have a defined end date.

Yet, as a developer I’ve learned to be self aware or self determined to continue my education and just produce at a good rate of time. I feel every project has its possible problems. You could encounter something you figure out in a day or others like implementing new api’s or building dependencies of a much larger module or extension could take time.

For my first job as a programmer, colleagues could not afford letting me work a little bit slower. I was then moved to another team, and things went better. Even inside one same company, work conditions may vary.

Hello there, uncle Stefan. It's Chester. Thanks Stef. Actually as a white hat hacker, I have no idea but there's a folk who said project by project and one project at a period of time. Guys trust your Uncle Stef, he is the only one who can help you.

I've also found that no matter what methodology a corporate project says they are using, whether agile or waterfall, the project would have been sold to the bean counters as waterfall with a hard and fast date for completion because that's all the upper management care to understand. So you go through all the agile ceremonies and you do the little agile dance for many sprints and you feel like you are on track because Jira tells you so and because middle management and product owners are allowed to constantly tweak requirements and cause scope creep, the realities of how close you are to the deadline soo turn to lies and frustration. A good project manager or business analyst sitting between the product owner and the developers is super critical in this situation. If a developer ever interviews for a position at a company and they ask the question if the company allows requirements directly from the product owner to the developers and they are told yes, they should walk out and go to the next interview. Time will always be an illusion in those companies and the time to make up for that scope creep will come out of a salaried developer's personal unpaid time in the end.

All of them are Turing completed so doesn't matter which one u choose from algorithmic point of view. You even can write a new langue in ruby or develop your own operating system on top of your current os in php or write your own Java virtual machine in perl. You see ? The limit is in your brain, not in the language.

Deadlines are what make it a tough job. The higher quality companies have tight deadlines and expect developers to make those deadlines. And this is where the men are separated from the boys. Long hours, hard work, high pay, accurate code. This is where you make your name.

Few months ago I started to learn SQL but mean while I couldn't focus and stopped in between because of work stress.
Can you give me a tip how to keep learning without losing interest.
