This song feels like you could have been written for my little sister, Mandy. She was Born in November with blue eyes deep as the ocean. she was the most awkward person I’ve ever met in social situations but still she tried so hard to make friends. Mandy passed away in 2020 a few months shy of her 21st birthday. She was my best friend and my only sibling. The last concert that we went together was actually aftershock a few years earlier. Shinedown gave the most amazing performance. I have a video of me and her thinking along to Second Chance at that performance. One of my most cherished memory. I already have my tickets for your upcoming show in Sparks Nevada. I only wish that she was here to enjoy it with me.
