Fat can be saturated on unsaturated foods which are more complicated in structure. In its complete form the fats are made up of triglycerides. Triglycerides are made up of three fatty acids joined to a glycerol backbone. We need to break down fat into its building blocks to be absorbed by our body."

Great job! Just one small error. Lingual lipase is not activated until it hits the acidic stomach acid. This means that lipolysis cannot begin until fat reaches the stomach.

It is important to remember that the lingual lipase don't start to digest lipid in the mouth, because that enzyme, despite is secreted in the mouth, is only actived in the stomach.
