What I hope is the Diana changes her tune and becomes the mentor to Caitlin, this young phenom who has looked up to Diana for years. But if we can't get that I hope Caitlin earns Diana's respect as a person and as a player. Young girls need to see this. They need to see that the WNBA isn't as bad as they seem, and that young talent can be welcomed to the league in the right way! Times UP WNBA start showing some class now!

Taurasi is not facing the amount of attention Clark is receiving from opposing teams. Still, the numbers are very similar.

It’s wild how many people spend their time to try and diminish one person in the WNBA lol. Go live your life. Find something to love or enjoy instead of spewing hate and criticism all day. What an awful way to live.

This is such a shallow take to me. Taurasi isn't the attraction on the Mercury. She's more of a veteran that still plays well but the big star on the Phoenix is Copper. Briner, yeah the Briner that was jailed in Russia, is also a huge part of that team. And the Fever is about Caitlin Clark and Aaliyah Boston.

The problem is, this is potentially a bad game for prime time TV. The Fever playing a below .500 team like the Chicago Sky is competitive and compelling. But them playing the Mercury may likely lead to a blowout and a middling performance from Clark getting say 16 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 1 block, 6 turnovers with her hitting maybe 3 logo 3s. Maybe she'll do better, maybe not. Boston, who knows? Maybe 15-18 points, 10 rebounds but she's going up against Griner.

Taurasi is a 2nd option or 3rd and may get 17 to 22 points or so with 4 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 TOs.

Let's hope for a competitive game and a better game from Caitlin but the player, without a doubt to watch in this game as the best player on the court is Kaleah Copper.
