Clark should be mad. Sides let Wheeler control the ball in the 4th quarter. Sides wouldn't let Clark shoot in the 4th quarter.. No one would pass the ball back to Clark when she was open. All Mitchell wanted to do was score points and ignore Clark being open in the 4t quarter. Time for GM Lin Dunn to do her job and get rid of Sides! Get rid of Wheeler or permanently bench her!

I know she needs to continue to play, but she is one of the greatest young players ever. Look at both the collegiate records and WNBA rookie records she's shattered.

The fever team always resorts to play ground ball giving up big leads. Clark scored 18 points in the first half. Then in the second half the fever team-mates forgot that Caitlin was on the court. They and the coach do not seem to realize that they are a better team letting Caitlin run the offense. She is too smart & talented of a player to sit on the bench. Caitlin is the first rookie in WNBA history to record 400 PTS • 100 REB • 150 AST. How can you waste talent like this.

Mercury switched the defense to a 2/1/2 zone in the second half and fever couldn’t answer. Even worse, Erica wheeler coming into the game and coach was running the offense through her using Clark as a decoy in the corner. The ball got stagnant going around the perimeter instead of attacking the zone by getting the ball to Boston in the paint drawing in the defense then kicking out to open shooters. This was very very bad coaching decision.

You didn’t address the actual issue which is Sides putting Wheeler in as PG and putting Caitlin in the corner. Every single time they have a lead she does it and they lose the momentum. Then she says she “needs to figure it out” at the press conference. Apparently everyone has figured it out but her. SMH

There is no shame from Sides. As a coach/leader of a team, you should be able to hold yourself accountable. She doesn't. She'll throw players under the bus to deflect any blame. Wheeler is a bust. There is no try hard anymore from her, she already got her guaranteed payout.
