The Zoobox is a fun, innovative, and fully off-grid micro cabin that has a human-sized energy wheel (like a giant hamster wheel) that generates electricity thanks to a dynamo that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. Most of the power generated for the cabin actually comes from the solar panels on the roof of the cabin, but this energy wheel is a fun way to supplement the solar and top up the batteries.

I would’ve liked it to be like a real treadmill, so you walk or run normally. Though cool, this design is an uncomfortable and possibly dangerous toy.

but what's the output? A human pedaling is like 100-25 watts max. You'd have to be on that for hours to have any significant output

Cute and quirky, but not practical. Very awkward for comfortable walking (forget running) due to the small diameter of the circle. Would be very easy to take a tumble if you actually tried to us it for real exercise vs just very slow, careful walking whist gripping the grab bar carefully!
