To help with dust, hairs fingerprints etc. use a q-tip with rubbing alcohol and gently go over the problem area. Works like a charm. Great video.

I taught polymer clay for years professionally, this is a good source video. The only info I would add is that rubbing alcohol (I use a lower strength) is great to take out fingernail marks, dust, dirt etc prior to baking. Use a q-tip and gently rub. Also I find a smooth ceramic tile a must because you can create on it and then pop it in the oven and it bakes great. I have some videos for different types of projects I'd love for you to pop over and see. (I do paper and clay projects) You have a wonderfully accessibly and clear way of instruction and your video is full of solid information that gives the beginner a good grasp of the medium. Well done!

Smol tip: if youre going to glaze your art piece i recommend using Mod Podge (idk how to say it) like the white glue if you let it sit for a while it will give a glaze texture or use clear nail polish!
I think most white glue / pva does work so maksure to expirement!

I used to love playing with clay growing up, & have some arriving tomorrow. Super excited to build 'Mushroom Land' again. It's so cool that you can over bake the art projects to make them more long lasting. Thanks for the 101 for beginners video 🙏🏼

This was amazing and I genuinely loved it. ADHD Crafting hit me hard and I want to make some clay pieces for DnD Mini figures. This covered every single question I had about going into this.

Tip: ditch the full size oven and use an air fryer!

Thanks for so many helpful tips! I bought myself a little “get started” polymer clay kit six months ago, but I’ve been too nervous to start! I feel much more prepared and I think I’ll take the plunge and start playing with the clay today. I also love your art! Those little ghosts are cute ❤

For me, acetone after baking fixes rough spots better than sanding, and it is pretty easy to get cause most nail polish removers contains it and there are some of them that are 100% acetone based. Great video, thank you for it!
