God Rode.... you are going to leave me bankrupt!! LOL I love how you are innovating with all the new mics for content creation. I own the Rode Video Micro, The Rode Video Mic ME (original version), the Rode Wireless GO (1st edition) and The Rode Video Lav and LOVE all 3 as I have tested each out. I am looking forward now to getting this mic for use on my Android phone and the Rode Wireless Go 2 for actual content creation and making travel videos when my fiancee Katie moves to Canada from the US eventually. I think what would be great is if you could create a mic identical to the Diety D4 Duo, I know that would sell huge for you guys but with a special touch by Rode like being able to attach a Rode Wireless Go (or GO2) to just an idea!!! But keep bringing out the epic products!!!!

Does it work with a smartphone which has both, headphone jack and Type C port? Read some amazon reviews saying it didn't work on their device since their primary audio source was the headphone jack... Im asking this for video recording not only audio recording with an Android one device.

@rodemic the mic performs great but the usb-c connector is too short to use when your phone has a cover on, which I need because I attach a lense that needs a specific phone cover, is there an option to extend the c connector? I use iphone 15 pro.

i bught the 1st version worked well on phone with jack but cant use in any other device pc etc because jack is trrs not trs so you need to buy the adapter sc from rode ...
