Thanks so much for this. The distance sensitivity without a gain function really opened my eyes. I have a Zoom Q2n and I just assumed you'd be able to adjust the gain a bit. Still considering it given the dearth of options.

OMG I bought it but it doesn't fully fit in with my iPhone 11 Pro case and I don't want to have to take it off every time, I want my phone to have protection, what do you recommend?
Are you not using a case?

I'm curious if this mic would handle higher SPL's of a rock concert? Specifically, at the venues that don't allow SLR cameras and pocket hand held recorders like the Zoom H series units or anything like that. Would this be better than just the built in iphone 14/15 mic?

Great review. Do you think this would be a good option for capturing spoken voice 3 or 4 feet in front of the microphone and a guitar amplifier maybe 8 feet off to the side? Or is there a better option plugged into an iPhone? Thanks!
