It would be better though to form colonial nations and let them core most new world provinces. Then move your capital to a region and form a colonial tag like Brazil, US, Alaska, Mexico, or Texas.

You then inherit full cores in all of the land, no admin spent coring or diplo spent annexing.

The problem here is that this will slow down your colonisation, without colonial nations colonising themselves

Good to know, if I end up not getting the Caribbean, I would just use North America as a distraction for enemy troops while I siege out their home. Now they have value outside trade power

I have a question: i conquered a countrie's colonies, but they are remaining my territories and they're not becoming a colony, but since i can't core them i'd like to make them colonies. Do you know how to fix this?

i cant figure it out. i paly as spain, moved to africa to bermuda to falkland ... but never can move to america after .... what am i missing?
