No one is showing the redownloaded files after restarting...issue is not fixed

I have literally just completed this step for step on my Google Pixel 7 Pro and it worked. Once @ the play store I updated the Gmail app as it asked me to and then I re-started the phone.
Now I can open up my attachments via Gmail. Appreciate this 👍🏾

I have solved the problem, for reference to others the device is a OnePlus 9 pro 5G
The solution is
Go to settings-users & accounts-select multiple users - select guest user - wait..
The phone will start a new instance for a guest user
Go to settings again, do the above selections but select admins user (you initial account then wait, your phone will return to its normal instance and Gmail will allow you to view & download your attachments.
A wierd solution to a weird problem that seems to be relevant to Android 12 OxygenOS
