I know Blood sausage can be a shock but hear me out, depends on the part of Silesia which is part of Poland it can be ether cut into rings and fried or fried as whole and then opened from the side and sort of squized onto the plate so it lokes like black backweed portion, how it taste ? taste like fried pork chop while there is no meat there because blood gives that pork chop taste to it so its like backweed with sause made of pork chop, been eating it since I was like 7 and its one of most scary at first but then taste gooood specially with some fried onions on the side type of dishes

Czernina is practically no longer eaten in Poland, and if there is no broth and donuts(rosoł i pączki), Poland is not complete

HI!
If blood is used in our Polish dishes, it is justified because for various reasons we could not afford to waste any raw material and we have learned to use everything that the sacrificed animal provides to survive. Often, a single raw material such as blood combined as in "blood sausage" or a soup called "tripe" made it possible to survive when there was nothing to put in the pot. And "black soup" was once culturally treated as a polite refusal from a lover who wanted to pick up a woman. This soup was specially prepared in such a way that it was not tasty and the person understood that he was not welcome here. Nowadays, "black soup" is served as a curiosity in restaurants, but it is not cooked in ordinary people's homes. All the other foods mentioned above are now common delicacies that we often eat for joy. Over time, it is served festively with a family dinner. And although they may seem inedible and unattractive in appearance, when properly prepared they make you feel as if you were dying while these dishes were being prepared. That is: heavy, rough ones in which survival was almost all-important.

dear lady, Polish history is meads, a global phenomenon, production, end result, products that make fruity wines fail, this is a typical Polish product, vodka is not associated with Polish history, it is more associated with the drunken mentality of the East
