Today I talk about the best mountain bike light you can buy for the money! It's rechargeable, waterproof, long lasting, and has a perfect beam for your helmet and handlebars. Not only is it 20 bucks, but I truly think it's the best light out there.

I have no ties with this product and paid full price for it, I just love it that much and wish someone would have told me about it earlier.

Mine arrived a few days ago & I’m totally stoked on them. One on the bars & the other on my helmet is a great setup, indeed. Took my fat bike out around the neighborhood for a night ride after a big snow storm. Can’t wait for warmer weather so I can get some night trail riding in!

I ended up going with the Blitzu Gator 390, but I clicked your link so hopefully you get some commission. Thanks for the vid!

went once with a position light, once with no light... scary experiences. Anyway, this vid was exactly what I was looking for :) thanks

Love the recommendation! Used it last night and worked great. The only thing that I don't like about it is when I was traveling it would turn on really easy.

Just wanted to say thanks for making this video. Purchased the light and could not be happier with it. It's always tough taking a chance on a light at this price point but this thing rocks.

1 year later - do you still reccomend this light?

Came here from Seth's new video where said to have a spot on your head and a flood on your bars.

Will the mount allow rotational adjustment?

I drank the cool-aide... Luckily the word Budget features in title. Because that describes this light perfectly. The mounts are rubbish, and the light gets far from 1000 Lumens. 500-700 Lumens is more likely. For the price, it's a great back up light. But, for serious - single track night riding... You're better off spending a bit more coin. Luckily, I needed a backup light. So, money not totally wasted ;-)

I'm always leary and try to aviod buying products made in China when I can. Luckily some years ago I got a very good deal on some Niterider lights, which are advertised to be made in USA. Purchased through my LBS, I like giving back locally and having the customer support if I ever need it. My 2 cents

Ordered one, I might be doing a nightish ride tuesday night (with the daylight savings changes its alllmost light enough to ride after work) and I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I'm really happy I saw this! Hopefully it will fill the gap until its light till late.

You guys should try looking for Raypal RPL-2255 Cree LED Light. Its good because its light in horizontal ways and reletively very small only 6cm in length.oh yes, rechargeble also .I think the price only 10 bucks because in my country Malaysia only cost MYR30.

Great review, do you have any videos of you riding with it? These are the lights I ride with:

I had to buy a helmet mount for it to work, but it was secure and the light never moved. These were briiiight. On climbs, I would turn the helmet light off completely and the bar light to its lowest setting.

Do you know if the Shenkey has a version with two bulbs? The problem with my lights is the battery. Its an external battery pack that needs to be stored somewhere. The one on my bike just gets attached to the frame which is fine. The helmet one I have to throw the battery in the backpack. Which is fine, except this past summer I went #fullenduro and switched to the hip pack (in fact for shorter rides, i just use a running belt for some bare necessities). I have a single bulb version of my bar lights and its just not bright enough. I would love to have a 2 bulb or more light for my helmet that I could also recharge and not have to deal with wires.
