Should I do more chemistry experiments under the microscope?!

Electrolysis basically
tin on one cathode and chloride water on the other anode

Darn it bro, why do I always find amazing videos like this when lay down for bed. "Oh, I will just watch one more" . --Two hours later-- 🤔 hmm maybe one more🤣🤣

It's very cool, I've been doing this, as a side product of electrolysis, as I turned water into hydrogen and oxygen. Also it smelled like chlorine because of the salt

Amazing! So, this is how they made metal? Or was it found naturally?

Coles Alkaline 9V batteries are the cheapest 9V you can find at Australian retail shops. Costs around 4.5$ a pair compared to 12-14$ duracells and others. Good value for money. I use it on my smoke alarm and gate remote.

Walt: I'm turning powder into metal
Every 80s hair band: are we just a joke to you?
Me: well ...technically yeah...

Another cool one would be silver salts like they use on camera film the clear silver salts are light sensitive and turn to metallic salts under uv light

What is the chemical makeup of the powder that you started with?

Do sodium hydroxide, just forget the water and use an inert environment instead.

So can we say when these salts are given a specific path or shape to turn into metal, then tat becomes nanotechnology??

Can the same process be used to turn sodium chloride into sodium metal?
