Woman with disability loses SSI

This is a shame. What does the lady have to prove at this point. There is a lot of inconsistencies at the SSI office. I knew someone who had stage 4 cancer that worked at the same place for over 30 years that applied for benefits that was denied. She died less then 6 months later.
To me something is wrong with how the cases are evaluated.

When I applied for disability, and was awarded SSI, my attorney didn't charge up front. She only took a percentage of what I was awarded.
That's how it works with disability attorneys.
Please tell Melissa that disability attorneys get paid if she wins. She doesn't have to pay anything to them out of pocket.

I know how this poor woman feels, the whole system is corrupt. I hope she can find an attorney who specializes in ssi/ssdi and gets her benefits reinstated 🙏❣

That poor woman ! My heart breaks for her, I am on ssi also it is hard enough to live on the little amount that they give, let alone having it cut off ! Shame on the ssi office !!

The saddest part is that this is what most of us who receive SSI go through at some point in time. It’s agonizingly inconsistent and takes months to years to get anything corrected.

My dad had half of his heart died in his early 50's and was unable to work. The government told him that he was still able to work too. It's right down criminal
