It's not that easy! There are many reasons a person could be confused about their feelings! If you aren't very close to the person who likes you, you may not feel as though you have enough information to make an opinion about them. For example, two people with a mutual friend know each other. One of them watches the second often and develops a crush, while the second is unaware. If the first confesses to the second, and the second is unsure, this doesn't mean a relationship couldn't develop! Also, if you've been friends with someone for a bit only to find out they like you, you may be confused! This doesn't mean that being confused somehow means you can't like that person.

I think he’s a great guy, we have so much in common and I love spending time with him… but I don’t think about him all the time, don’t want to mingle with his friends unless they’re already mutual, don’t want him in my space all the time. I have liked people who didn't reciprocate right away (at least not to my level) and I have always been fine being the one who wait for the affection to blossom; now that I'm on the other side, this is confusing and I feel I am putting pressure on myself to reciprocate asap though I need not do that. What's wrong with me?
