AI makes Data Literacy More Important

AI MAKES DATA LITERACY MORE IMPORTANT // Everyone consumes data - whether it’s the primary focus of your job or just in your day-to-day life. But that doesn’t mean we’re all good at utilizing it. Fewer than 25% of people say that they’re comfortable working with data and incorporating it into their job. That’s really what data literacy is - the ability to read, understand, and utilize data in different ways.

AI is here to solve that! You can ask an AI a question in simple language and it will do all the work in the background to return you an answer. OR at least that’s what some companies want you to believe.

AI means a LOT of different things. Let’s focus today on tools built on large language models like Chat GPT and Google Bard.

We’ll look at an example to demonstrate where the problems come in when data literacy isn’t present.
