Problem is that the definition of a Data Scientist is not well defined. I worked with one who did not know SQL very well. I also worked with one who struggled with some ETL routine. I also worked with one who could not do basic statistical time series analysis. All with PHDs from top 5 universities.

Job definitely will reduce in future but same jobs roles and responsibilities will be always there in every field...compitator will increase in job market.

Never skip any jobs bcz all are correlate to each other....
