ONE MINUTE CHOCOLATE FROSTING RECIPE

Ingredients

2 Tbsp / 30g Butter
1 Cup / 125g Powdered Sugar / Icing Sugar
2 Tbsp / 12g Cocoa Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1-2 Tbsp Hot Water

Instructions

Bring some water to the boil in kettle or in a small saucepan over high heat. Once it is boiling set aside.
In a medium sized mixing bowl add the butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder and salt.
Pour over the hot water and use a whisk to combine the ingredients together until whipped and smooth.
Add more water if needed for a thinner consistency.

Notes

Use the Chocolate Frosting immediately as it will start to thicken as it sits.
More hot water can be added to thin out the consistency if it has set.
The recipe can easily be doubled or tripped to make a larger amount.

Wow this is such a good frosting and its so easy to make! I just made it and put it on chocolate cake and it tasted DELICIOUS! I recommend this chocolate frosting recipe if you have all the ingredients. Its so good and easy to make!

Delicious frosting. I didn't add salt because I used salted butter. Also, I added an extra Tbl. Of cocoa ( per batch) for an extra chocolatey taste 😋 I made two batches to cover a 9"x13" homemade yellow cake.

I just made this recipe with my mom for mothers day, one thing to add though is if your more sensitive to salt I would skip the salt and stick to everything else. We made it with salt and I found it was very salty even if my mom didnt notice. We made it again without salt and both found it tastes way better! ☺️❤️

this is really good. It was a bit too rich so I tried adding some sugar but it was still too rich. Then I added a dash of milk and then it worked. this recipe is so easy even for kids like me. I😄 give it a 9/10🎂🧁🍰🍥🥮
