Russia’s war against Ukraine: What Ukraine urgently needs
Показать описание
01 March 2021 - Policy Dialogue
Speakers: Gennadiy Druzenko, Constitutional lawyer, Head of the First Voluntary Military Hospital; Luke Harding, The Guardian, reporting from Kyiv; Osnat Lubrani, UN System Resident Coordinator, UNDP Representative; Vasyl Filipchuk, Senior Fellow, Centre for Policy Studies, Kyiv
Moderator: Amanda Paul, Senior Policy Analyst, European Policy Centre
Russia’s brutal, unprovoked war against Ukraine and the free world continues. Russia is attacking Ukraine day and night, with the tacit support of Belarus. Civilian infrastructure is being targeted with women and children being among the dead. Ukraine’s partners in the West have stepped up and implemented sanctions to isolate Russia, cripple its economy, and provide Ukraine with military, humanitarian and political support. Much more needs to be done.
This Policy Dialogue focused on the unfolding situation and what more Ukraine urgently needs from its allies and partners in the West.
