Nietzsche would have despised Hitler. Nietzsche would have considered Nazism ultimately a weak morality where the weakest become completely reliant and inculcated into the State that supposed to lead the supposedly "glorious people" to victory ultimately failing everyone. Nietzsche was also reported to believing himself of Polish nobility and would at one point relinquish his German citizenship. Nietzscheanism is a bit esoteric but its ultimately about how the greatest individuals don't get tied down by the standards of modernity and go on to take greatness.

I think "übermench" was a solution for our idea of a god being dead. He was worried about the vacuum it would create and allow ideologies to rise and fill the gap. An übermench was an individual who didn't need a god or an ideology for meaning in life.
