Latin Girl Denied Entry At Airport | @DramatizeMe

A Latin girl came face to face with a racist passport control inspector while traveling. Despite having all the required documents, the prejudiced ""Karen"" denied the girl entry into the United States. When she tried to protest, the inspector claimed that she had to pass a quiz on U.S. history in order to get the stamp she needed. The girl ended up answering every question correctly and the Karen begrudgingly stamped her passport. However, a second and more experienced inspector, found an envelope with a lot of money in the girl's luggage, and led her into a room to be searched. What unexpected twist took place inside that room? And was the girl ever released?

I was held by immigration in Vancouver. They said I was a Hong Kong national trying to sneak into Canada with stolen technology. I told them, I was an American Citizen and my surname was Japanese, not Chinese. They told me that they heard the same old story before. I was there for a scientific conference and told them to search me and examine my slide case and poster case for the conference. They later apologized after 2 hours of checking my facts and said that they were vigilant for Hong Kong immigrants trying to sneak into Canada via the US. This was back in 1988. What was amazing is the I was traveling with two people, one from Mainland China and another American born Chinese and they single me out as suspicious...

Both Karen and John were fired from their jobs and sentenced to prison for 10 years. In order to make sure that Karen couldn’t keep her revenge promise, Regina filed a restraining order against her.

Profiling the girl due to ethnicity was bad enough, the racist Karen on duty at passport control was out of hand. Denying access was going to reach her bosses' ears but to accuse her of stealing was the last mistake Karen made!!! The officers should have listened to both sides of the problem, it was unprofessional of them!!! Wait for it, Justice will prevail for this girl and others like her, the wicked Karen and her colleagues will be fired!!!
