- Remember to worship, it's all well and good to play well, but we also need to praise the Lord, because that's who we are doing it for.
- Enjoy the music! Don't let the technicalities of the song confuse you, or that bridge give you a headache, just keep going and keep enjoying.

@Churchfront In my opinion, when I listen to modern P&W songs, it sounds like the drummers are overplaying or playing to loudly, instead of just giving it a steady simple beat and it gets very distracting, and at times annoying to listen to... The biggest mistake of a worship drummer is not focusing on the Lord nor knowing the Lord you can’t be a worship drummer without knowing the Lord focus on the Lord and he will help you become an even better drummer!
