Thanks for this blessing. I had this recording on an 8-track tape and it was stolen with other tapes & the tape player from my car in 1976. The thief should have listened to them but they probably wound up in a pawn shop. Its so good to hear this recording again. God bless you.

Last track on the disc here, 'God Made a Way' cuts back on J D Sumner in the ensemble passages, but not on the solos. Might have been a better quartet sound if they had not done that, but amazing anyway. These guys took barbershop a million miles further than it has ever been before or since, plus the spiritual dimension. A time of pencil mustaches, big Cadillacs and big faith too.
