Why I DONT like Luminar Neo #5: Extensions - Today we're diving into a topic that's been on my mind lately - Luminar Neo extensions. Specifically, why they exist and can be purchased separately. I recently started testing them out and I have to say, I do like how they work. But there's one thing that's been bugging me - shouldn't these features be included in the software we're already paying for?

For example, take the new extension called Noiseless AI. It beautifully removes the noise in your photos, but why should we have to pay extra for that? Shouldn't that just be a basic function of the software we're already using? And what about the Super Sharp AI extension? Why is that an extension and not just an improvement to the details section?

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I don't like these extensions. But it does seem to be a common theme nowadays with the subscription model. It feels like we're being nickel-and-dimed for every little improvement, and that's just not cool.

Sadly I didn't realise that 90% of the features which make this app unique are locked behind additional paywalls, so I've just wasted my money, can't afford the extortionate pricing of the extensions so, ugh.
