The moment I realized Patrick was singing “The Best” to David, it literally hit me like a ton of bricks. Until then, I had never considered that song as being particularly romantic but when stripped down to Patrick and his guitar, just wow. When Patrick directs those words to David, you fully realize how much David means to Patrick and the depth of his love for him. It was just one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in television. It was truly the best.
