"... But she has already made her choice"
Never thought I'd feel this sad for a bird

This guy could be talking about the history of spoons and I would still be entranced.

The Sardine segment is quite possibly the single best piece of cinematography Ive ever seen!! The sweeping dramatic music and the amazing underwater camera work are absolutely brilliant. And to end with footage of the whale finishing it all off it completely out of this world. Should have been the number one segment!!

Damn you never really understand how hard animals really have it until you watch things like this. That bird one almost made me cry no joke, nature is brutal...

My dad was one of the Royal Marines escorting Sir David Attenborough when they were filming life in the freezer, he even has a book signed by him that apparently all of the boys got!

David is such an icon - read his Wikipedia page and I had no idea that he's not only 96, but has 20+ new species named after him as well!! To have seen and experienced so many wonders of the world in your entire lifetime must be so amazing. Not to mention he's the best narrator - when I go to watch nature documentaries, I always look for something David has voiced first! <3

I gotta give it up to the film crews. They're usually out there for years capturing this footage. Years of filming for hour long documentaries.

I once made a mistake listening to Sir David’s youtube videos while trying to fall asleep, since his voice is so calm. Ended up watching A Life On Our Plannet and Life in Color till sunrise.

What if: you were eating grass and chilling
But David said: "What happens next is truly extraordinary"

The footage of the sardine hunt is absolutely amazing. I have mad respect for every nature photographer and nature film maker, because the work that goes into both is unbelievable.

Shoebills have to be one of the creepiest birds alive. They always look at you like they’re planning where to hide your dismembered body.

It always amazes me how I can switch sides so easily depending on which animal the narrator is explaining.

I think it looks so cool how the shoe bill can keep their head so perfectly still while moving their body. I know this is common with many birds, but it is so very EXTRAORDINARY when the shoe bill does it!

I think I would cry if I was the person that caught the sardines scene on camera. Such a once in a lifetime moment. The whale coming in at the end was just perfect.
