Look here’s the problem with that. These car manufacturers don’t have the drive time and haven’t pushed 200k to see if they would even make it. And to be completely honest all cars can make it 200k miles if properly maintained. Doesn’t matter what it is. An engine that is properly maintained will run just fine.

You cannot say a brand new car is going to go over 200k when we know nothing about it yet. That’s like when brands brag about being most reliable of the year or some bs. Let’s see where these cars stand in say 10-15 years from now

This can’t be right. How can you say a 2024 model is most likely going to go over 200k miles? Especially for new models like the new Tacoma with a brand new engine. I’d be looking at reliability surveys of early of mid 20 teen vehicles that have proven reliability above 200k miles.

Wash it often - 1 or twice a week
Get fluids changed when it’s time
Keep it clean
Fill it up with gas before it gets to a quarter full
Don’t accelerate or break hard, basically just don’t drive like a moron
Your car should last much longer
