This whole concept of a musician playing a song blind and creating their own version is It completely shows the beauty of interpretation with music.

"Missed the ending, damn it"

After giving one of the greatest drum performances I've ever seen. What an amazing talent.

Metal dudes are always some of the nicest guys I've ever met.

This is the best example of how a song can be changed so dramatically by the drums.

I find it funny that Megadeth’s drummer actually slowed the part down. Brilliant playing.

Wow that change in tempo for the “she’s touching his chest now” part took the song from feeling like anxious jealousy to feeling like someone who is having their guts ripped out because they love someone they can’t have. It’s amazing how much just one instrument can change the whole feel of the song. What an amazing drummer, he’s so talented and just just seems like a good dude too 😄

It would be rad for them to do this with every instrument independently and then put all the new parts together and see how insanely different it is from the original

I don't know much about Megadeth or Metal music, but from being the drummer of a band called Megadeth, he's way more chill and humble then I could've imagined.

It's so cute how he's so focused on missing those three hits at the end. It's all he can think about, but meanwhile everyone else is just blown away by his creative performance and not even noticing he missed anything. What a sweetheart this guy is.

His version feels like an old school rock track. It’s awesome how changing one instrument change the song so much.

It's wild because he kind of pulls the lighter energy out of the song and makes it feel a little more somber without pulling any of the spirit out of it. It's fucking beautiful

I love how his version makes it sound like it’s mellowed down a little but seems to hit harder at the same time.

This is incredible, he brought Mr. Brightside down to a level where it felt way more emotional than poppy. I love it.

Metal drummers always have such an amazing sense of rhythm. Some of the patterns to their songs are so complex that he’s just capable of breaking down the song with one try
