Hi, thank you so much for this wonderfully put video. As a foreigner currently living in Japan, I started my Nisa journey but I might leave japan in the future (move to a different country). May I know if I should mandatorily close the Nisa account before leaving Japan?

Amazing video. In ur opinion, what are the disadvantages/risks of maxing out in 5 years? I plan to start from June 2024 and will try to max by 300k/month.

Hello, it looks like there is an annual limit for Tsumitate Nisa Quota = 1.2kkk JPY. So, if we want to invest 3.6kk JPY per year, we must fill both Grouth (2.4kk) and Tsumitate(1.2kk) quotas.

Do I correctly understand the system?

I am a foreigner in Japan (J wife & kid, already working) and have JPY3~5m to invest. Any suggestions (with the understanding that you are not a financial advisor)? I plan to be here 3-5 years more. I already own real estate back home and have various funds in USD.

3:26 I'm confused by the Tsumitate-eligible funds. What are these 6000 funds you refer to? Are these funds that were eligible under the old Tsumitate? That would mean the the number of eligible funds was reduced by quite a bit.
