He said on Saturday, March 4: "We are in the midst of a civilization-warping crisis of public trust, and the President's allegations today demand the thorough and dispassionate attention of serious patriots. A quest for the full truth, rather than knee-jerk partisanship, must be our guide if we are going to rebuild civic trust and health."

How is it possible that in the country of the free, so many voices are silence? Why are so many voices not heard for health care for all, social rights, women rights, an healthy environment? Why are so many voices silence about discrimination, violence, hate and poverty?

It's hard, but it's important to remember not to lose our humanity in all of this insanity. Try to agree to disagree, agreeably. If you chance to meet a Troll, don't get upset, be set to scroll. Most importantly, know that there are people who, no matter how many facts you give them, or how kindly you treat them, are always going to throw down the gauntlet, and be ugly. 

Don't stoop to their level. 

Remember the wise and wonderful words of Maya Angelou:

"When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time."

I will be posting this on all of the #Resistance videos, to remind us that we have a kinship in each other; whether Democrat, Republican, Independent, or otherwise, and that we will not be gaslighted when we're told we're not actually seeing the bigotry and open hostility every day.
