He's right; a lot of those supplements contain silicon dioxide which is just "sand in a bottle". The supplement Biosil however DOES contain the silicic acid (also called orthosilicic acid) that he mentions being the good stuff that you want.

surely there must be a way to make silicic acid and add it to my water. Has anyone found out how yet? or does someone make a silicic acid concentrate that can be mixed with water?
