Infiltrating the Middle East: Mohamad Faridi
#Charisjourneys, #Andrewwommack, #Charisbiblecollege, #Missions, #Mohamadfaridi, #Islam, #Gospeltruth, #1040window,
Taking the same truths he learned from Andrew Wommack’s Gospel Truth Program and Charis Bible College, Mohammed Faridi has reached thousands of Muslims within the 10/40 Window, many who have traded the chains of Islam for the freedom of Christ.
Not long ago, Mohamad Faridi sought death by martyrdom for the god of Islam. Now an ordained minister of the Gospel and graduate of Charis Bible College, Mohamad travels the globe to take the Good News back to his people in oppressed and hostile countries in the Middle East.
Lost, depressed, and hungry for answers, Mohamad was told by those close to him that “A good Muslim does not ask questions.” Noticing an unfamiliar light of joy behind the eyes of a friend, Mohamad asked about his secret. His friend shared with him the Gospel, and Mohamad received Jesus into his heart.
But for a Muslim to forsake their faith for any other can warrant death under Islamic law. When word of his conversion escaped, Mohamad began receiving threats against his life and was forced to flee to the United States.
Safe in the US, Mohamad enrolled in Charis Bible College to learn more about the God of the Bible and the confession of faith that nearly cost him his life. During his time under the Word of God as a student at Charis, Mohamad got connected with Iranian Christians International. An evangelistic organization that carries out the Great Commission among Iranians, Afghans, and other Persian speaking peoples. An organization that had, for the past fourteen years, been searching for a qualified person to take over their leadership.
Now a graduate of Charis Bible College and the head of Iranian Christians International, Mohamad leads teams of evangelists into the heart of the East. Spreading the Gospel by ministering in the streets and passing out Bibles, as well as leading online and in-person church services.
Some governments are none too happy about Mohamad’s mission. He and his ministers have been detained, interrogated and otherwise persecuted. But in spite of these difficulties Mohamad carries forward the mission of Iranian Christians International, to preach Jesus to Persian speaking peoples who have never heard the Gospel.
