When buying a new television you probably want to update your HDMI cables as well. There is a lot of new technology in televisions and projectors you want to make sure that your cables are up to date as well.

There are a lot of differences in HDMI cables that you may no realize. Most people usually buy the cheapest one that is available, but the wrong cable can really hinder the performance of your television. In this video Laman explains what to look for when buying a new cable and the differences between some of the cables that you might not be able to see.

I wonder, if in a blind test, would you be able to distinguish twixt an Amazon cable or an Audio Quest cable.

I'd wager you couldn't tell which was being used.

It is only an increase in audio fidelity you get with the more expensive cables and that is if your audio system is high quality.

I have the 3years old HDMI Carbon still working great is more vibrant more smoother specially the sounds you can tell the different, now thinking to get the Cinnamon 48 hdmi.

I still have a Carbon 2.0 almost like 8years old using it on my PS5, i have a 2.1 but maybe i might used that when 8k gaming come out. so far my carbon 2.0 can get a job done vrr hdr 120hz 4k so no need to replace it.

I just got an AudioQuest Cinnamon 48 for playing my PS5 on my TCL 55” US5800 4K UHD LED ROKU SMART TV. I just wanted a notable VISUAL improvement. I see NO difference between the Cinnamon and the HDMI cable that came with my PS5. Does that sound about right?

To a degree these high end cables are a sham, you can get $17 monoprice 8k60 /4K 120 with the same certification seal, hdmi 2.1 that will do just fine, or spend a ridiculous amount (which I have done before) and then you will most likely have to upgrade again in 2-3 years to keep up, those $400 cables you buy will literally be outdone by another $20 cable when the new standard comes out.

Oh mah gawd I tries pearl and it was good but then I thought is this good enough for me is this all Im worth? So I got the forest and it was a breath of fresh air but still wasnt good enough only nitrogen injected pathetic so I stepped it up a notch cinnamon was spicy and vibrant great but sorry we all know im better than that and so is my signal which I fed through chocolate and I thought wow this is it rich and indulgent signal creamy 2.5% silver I thought yeah cant get better than this but there was slight distortion and jitter in the signal which for me is a no no so I thought what has 6 protons 6 neutrons and 6 electrons? Thats right carbon!!! Solid core 3 layer carbon synthetics noise dissipator now we are talking but whats that you guessed it distortion are you kidding me? My signal deserves better than this it deserves shots of russias finest yes im talking vodka everything stepped up 10% stepping of upping of silver which I want to point is better than copper which produces dirty signal ewww smelly shots downed my signal at first glance was livelier but slowly started looking hungover I had only one option on the table and that was coffee and let me tell you this is where I finally started seeing how much full of energy my signal should have been this whole time very clean signal thanks to 72volt dbs im talking great clean signal makes all the other hdmi cables look like scart cables but I noticed one pixel was jittery with a smidge of distortion yep time to step it up whats a signals best friend? diamond yeah im talking about diamond cable the best cable for your signal perfect surface silver conductors extreme purity silver your signal will look out of this world clarity and contrast jitter free distortion GONE cleanest clearest signal possible moral of the story dont waste your time with trash hdmi cables go for the diamond oh mah gawd you will not regret it your eyes and ears deserve the best!!!!
