Pasta is over 2000 years old, the ancient Greeks and Etruscans literally ate it, The origins of pasta are very ancient. Present in its simplest and most primordial forms in various parts of the Eurasian continent, since ancient times, developing in a totally parallel, independent, diversified and without any reciprocal relationship, from the Chinese valleys of the Far East, to the Mediterranean areas of the Italian peninsula. In this last area, in particular, it had a rapid and important gastronomic and traditional development, which will last intact until the present day.
Pasta, in fact, was already widely known at the time of Magna Graecia (Southern Italy) and Etruria (Central-Western Italy), where it was however called by other names. The latter was known by the Greek term láganon or by the etymology, with a broader Mediterranean root, both Etruscan and Magna Graecia and Italic, makária or makarṓnia (with the meaning of "blessed food", offered in funeral ceremonies)

Flatbreads are a widespread native food of many regions across the Mediterranean and Middle East. Pizza in particular originates from Greek flatbreads, that you can still find in shops of the Greek countryside, but was refined and given its modern signature ingredients by the Italians. Types of ice cream existed back in ancient Greece and consisted of fruit, milk/yoghurt and honey.

Pizza originating from Persia or a country outside of Italy, actually makes more sense. Because the popular Idea that ""Europeans didn't season their foods"" is prevalent in history.

Ice cream was a Persian invention which was called Faloodeh in 500bc. Mixing fruit syrup instead of actual fruits became a thing during the early Muslim era.

Pita is a greek word for the flat breads and pies, not Arabic. Arabs don't call pita.

Last one is partially true, while Pizza most likely came first from either Greece or the Middle East, it most likely was inspired by something like Manakeesh (Lebanese flatbread)

He's not wrong, Southern Italy was conquered by Muslim empires, and Spain aswell, it was known as Al Andalus, so Arab influences on Europe is undeniable

In Egypt, we have an old version of pizza from the days of the ancient Egyptians, which is the “feteer meshaltet” stuffed with meat or chicken, or there is a sweet type of it.
