I picked up the habit of keeping an Auto Log Book for my vehicles. Gasoline, Tire changes, inspections, etc, etc. I use a Rhodia WebBook and a Navy Kaweco Sport with Noodler's Heart of Darkness to keep any and all things that have happened to my ride in that book. Yeah okay sure it's tedious and maybe a bit OCD but people like to see that book when I go to sell my car. Full history in a book. And hey they get to use the remainder of the book to continue the log or for whatever they want.
Pen not included. :P

This is a great video series idea! I find it takes a lot of trials before I can find a good ink for a particular pen. So this was both interesting and helpful! Please do more of these!

Accidentally, I have found out that the blue on the TWSBI Go Blue looks almost exactly like the Iroshizuku Kon Peki written with it. Now, I absolutely love this combination 😍

That does not look like Cactus Fruit Eel, even when extremely diluted cactus fruit eel looks closer to magenta than pink.

My mainstays have been: Opus 88 demo with Monteverde Copper Noir, PenBBS 456 Smog with Vinta Armada, and a Sailor Pro Gear Slim with Pilot Iroshizuku Ku-Jaku

My latest acquisition is an Esterbrook Estie Oversize Lilac with Iroshizuku Murasaki-shikibu, which would be a nice compliment to Adrianne's hair. My Retro 51 Corsair will always be filled with Noodler's Navy, and my Visconti Homo Sapiens Jade with Noodler's Gruene Cactus.

I only have a couple of absolutely permanent pairings; the rest of the pens are still looking for their "forever inks" and playing the field. :). The two I do have are my Pilot Custom 74 in Blue paired with RO Lake of Fire (on of my favorite inks EVER) and a Sailor 1911 in Fresca Blue paired with Iroshizuku Ama-Iro (another absolute favorite of all). Those two are pretty much always inked, while I rotate through my other pens.

I love rotating through different pen/ink combos, but a few fave combos:
--Platinum Plaisir red + Pilot Iroshizuku Momiji
--Vanishing Point Raden + Pilot Iroshizuku Yama Budo
--Pelikan M600 Turquoise-White + Robert Oster Fire and Ice
--Stipula Tocco Ferro Blue + Diamine Moon Dust
--Visconti Rembrandt Dark Forest + DeAtramentis Edgar Allan Poe

I am adoring my TWSBI Mini Mint Blue in fine with De Atramentis Mint Turquoise. So good together!

My mainstay has gotta be the good old TWSBI eco in transparent purple with Robert Oster black violet. It always writes and is perfect for cheap school paper. I inked it up with Robert Oster sparkling cranberry for the holidays, and it left some glitter residue behind that I didn't notice until I'd filled the pen back up with black violet. Originally I was peeved that I had to re clean the pen, but I discovered that the glitter complimented black violet really well, and gave me a slightly sparkly version of my very favorite mainstay ink!

Thank you for another excellent video! My main pen is the Montblanc 149 with Calligraphy nib and Noodler’s Baystate Blue ink. Such a smooth writer and BSB just really pops on Rhoida paper.

I've always kept my TWSBI Eco inked with Kyo No Oto Hisoku, but I'm thinking of changing that up soon. And for now, I plan to keep my favorite ink (Robert Oster Velvet Storm) constantly inked up in my favorite pen (TWSBI Precision).

My go-to pairing used to the a TWSBI Transparent Blue with Monteverde Ocean Noir. Then my friend got me a LAMY Safari Petrol and I tried it with Diamine Aurora Borealis and my go-to has been replaced with that. I love how the ink is basically the same color as the pen!

I realize I'm a bit of a complementing pen and ink type person. I'm still figuring out permanent inks to permanent pens so I don't pull out the cartridges/converters near as often.

One combination I did like was my vanilla Jinhao X450 Red and Gold to Graf von Faber-Castell Deep Sea Green. The dryness is the key thing, but still very neat.

Super 5 Dublin never seems to leave my Namisu Nova. Titanium pen with a waterproof ink, perfect combo!

My go to professional pens are both pilot 823's. (fine and medium) I do have a few other pens, vintage, modern.... lamy, sailor, pelikan, platinum... but the 823's are not flashy but dreamy with their pilot inks.

I'm the type to use one pen and one ink for a super long time. I used my Sheaffer Prelude (brushed chrome) with Sheaffer green (which is actually more of a turquoise-ish teal) for 3 years straight and they were an amazing pair for the cheap paper I used for school notes. A few months ago I bought my Aurora Optima in green from Goulet pens and I use it with Diamine Woodland green and I also stated to exclusively use Claire Fontaine paper and wow it's just amazing. I did keep my Sheaffer inked up but I have a hard time switching between pens... I still would want almost any pen that comes out (especially visconti dang I want a the divina in green...!), but even if I had 50 pens or more there is no way I'd be able to use them all. One pen and one ink for a few years then I get a new one. Oh well I still love every pen and ink I own

I have a Conklin Duragraph with a Goulet EF nib.. I had Gena at the SF pen show make it a little finer. She actually made it into a baby architect nib! I usually have Platinum Carbon Black in it. I do urban sketching every day with her! Thanks interesting video..
