i think this is a very neat controller for the price.
Akai! please make a simple knob controller with led rings like the apc40 has.
just 8 knobs and one more for master/channel volume and a row of buttons under it the width of the mini.
would sell like hot cake because usable by anyone everywhere in every program.
just like the behringer x-touch mini which is crap because detents and terrible resolution ratio....
the APC40 knobs are just unbeaetable!
the distance between the knobs is perfect, the resolution is perfect, the led ring is perfect, the quality is decent.
i liked the color of the apc mk1 led rings better than the mk2 but thats minor.

I feel like you’d sell even more units if you marketed towards VJ’s using Resolume software as well. APC40Mk2 is one of the most used controllers in industry, but this might be a better choice for those that don’t need knobs now

About moving around the matrix of clips, i wonder if it's possible to do it by "step of 8" (for example) : My live set has a myariad of scenes (about 8 per song) and so, scrolling fast between them is very useful .. Can you do it with this Controller ?

Is there a version with touch strips and endless encoders too? Between that and my 218 that should be all the controllers i need

I can’t wait until this type of music becomes popular! I’m joking. It’s like the frozen food of music. Just a few ingredients, heat n’serve. Glad to see/hear there are people who take this type a gear and drive it to the point it shuts down because of a computer glitch They use it in unconventional ways with unconventional music.
