Not all Rays are made in Italy anymore.

So recently (July 2019) I go to Sunglass Hut (authorized Ray Bay dealer owned by Luxxotica) and I now notice on the new RB3025 aviator frames is the inscription on the top of the frame "Ray Ban - Made In Italy". This was not on their previously and I believe this was recently added to authenticate from counterfeits. However the "fakes" will eventually have this engraving as well on them. It's just a matter of time.

It would've nice if you added a box and package description as well but with just the glasses you complemented what ive seen in other videos. Thank you so much

According to Rayban’s official site, Amazon is not an authorized reseller at this time.

There are exact ray ban replicas out there that you cannot identify if you are not familiar with the original ones. those replicas have thinner lenses and the metal used for the frame is not so stiff as the original ones.

My customized Ray-Ban aviators, ordered directly from Ray-Ban, say on the right temple "Ray-Ban Customized in USA" where it would normally say "made in Italy".

Hi, some information. Is this the Aviator Classic model? I purchased this model in a private shop. I noticed that on the official website the model is called "Aviator Classic", while on the box and on my glasses it says Aviator Large metal. Why this difference?

In my Aviotor Ray Ban Evolve all is ok, except for the both temples. Their markings are coming off? The right marking is almost gone. The left has half of it still there. I bought that at a legit department store mall. What do you think.

Hey everything looks good on the 3026 aviators I just bought except they don't have RB etched on the nose pieces but has Ray Ban instead. Is this ok or are they fake?

I want to share something with you, since I cannot really reach anyone else.
RayBan lists authorized resellers on their site, I purchased from one of them (Lentiamo, also in UK and other countries), the glasses are obviously fake, the small embossed logo in the glass looks like crap. I waited 2 hours in RayBan live chat to reach someone, when I was in another window, a certain "Brandon" was in, because I didn't reply in 1-2 minutes he closed the chat for inactivity. Why didn't they wait for me 2 hours like I did ? The fakes are partially their fault because they approve fake stores.
I know what brand I will NOT buy from now.

I bought polarized 62mm aviators online from Jomashop and they are 100% legit. Paid only $115 and no tax. I trusted this site given what I read about them and the fact they have watches that are tens of thousands of dollars for sale so I didn’t think they would be in the business of selling a fake $200 item.

man THANK YOU! I was tripping out thinking mine were fake with good lenses. But you set me at ease. cause I got mine from the Ray Ban itself

The most difficult aviators to replicate are the ones with light gradient lenses. They have everything cloned perfectly, however when you test the lenses for UV protection you will find that they won't pass a simple UV test using a hand held UV meter. A significant amount of UV pass thru the lenses. For this reason I won't take a chance with this type of lens from sources on eBay or other 3rd party sellers. I will always buy direct from the source for these type of lenses. If you can find a pair of clones that are UV protected then more power to you. Most likely in standard or flash lenses but in my experience the gradient lenses always fail a UV protection test.

I have recently purchased Ray-Ban Aviators sunglasses that are XL, on the left arm it says "Ray Ban RB3026 AVIATOR FLAT Metal 001/51 62□14 2N" from what I see on the internet it needs to say "LARGE" not "Flat".
Which got me skeptical.

The store claims to be a Ray-Ban resellers and has a whole Ray-Ban display, but I never found the model with the same colors online.

Any experts that can tell me if they are Counterfeit?

I bought mine from Amazon and I’m pretty sure they’re fake…

for context I have two pairs, a non-prescription pair that I got from Amazon to wear with contact lenses and a prescription pair that I bought directly from Ray Ban for when I’m not wearing contacts.

The fakes have all the etchings and did have the print (though starting to wear off) and are good fakes but they just don’t feel as high quality somehow and the nose pads are placed slightly differently. The placement on the real ones follow the contours of the lenses perfectly but the fakes don’t.
