My attempt at improving upon the live-action G.I. Joe movies by infusing them with some classic 80's adrenalin!!

This is LITERALLY what I was waiting for the whole time I watched the 2009 film.
I was so worked up by the end of it that I didn't care if there were kids in the theater, all the patrons in that cinema heard somebody shriek in exasperation:
'Where's the f--king theme song, what kind of sh-tshow are they playing at?! This is an OUTRAGE!!!!

...looking back now, I realize that I was probably emulating Cobra Commander's tone and voice from this song.
...that explains the applause that followed....

I have to admit...that shot of the Cobra banners dropping down over the front of the White House is probably visually the most true thing to the spirit of the 80s cartoon ever. That one shot captures the essence of what a GI Joe movie should be, so perfectly..

That was damn good. The editing to get the clips to match the sound effects was very well done. Makes me wish the movies were as badass as the actual intro theme still is.

Seriously it's ridiculous that so many Joe fans hate the live action movies. So many of them say they want a realistic version of the characters when every army movie is usually written without any of the fantasy and science fiction elements G.i.joe has included for years. Plenty of films made for people who love that kind of story. Some are outstanding, but I want my G.I.Joe to be like the best Man from Uncle spy genre shows G.I.joe and S.h.e.i.l.d. were based on.
