A trend I’ve noticed is that at least harbinger hails from every nation. The jester from khaenrhia, signora from monstadt, scaramouche from inazuma, childe a snezhnaya native, and the doctor was originally from sumeru. With that in mind, 3 nations are left. My educated guess is that sandrone will be from Fontaine because of her mechanical know how and the name marionette being French. Regrator is likely from liyue given that it’s the nation of contracts and commerce and he is banker. Not to mention the first time we hear of him is from yelan because of schemes he planned in liyue. That just leaves Natlan to the captain. The manga tells us that the children of murata were a strong warrior people and our only example of one is Vanessa, the hero who saved monstadt and ascended to celestia. It makes a ton of sense that he is an honorable warrior capable of rivaling gods if he’s from the nation of war

I think Hoyoverse is giving Fatui characters the opposite of the character traits of Comedia dell'Arte. Thats why original Capitano is coward and nothing but a liar but Genshin Capitano is brave and respected.
Same goes for Dottore. Original Dottore tries prove himself people. He pretends to be an expert in many subjects talking constantly but actually he has no idea about what he is talking about. Which means he is an imbecile. But Genshin's Dottore is a genius mad scientist. He doesnt tries to impress people with his words. He does it with his actions.
Another example? Tartaglia. Which means Stutterer in İtalian. But our Tartaglia is an excellent speaker. He is able make friends even with enemy because of his communication skills. Sorry for my bad english

In my opinion, Capitano is a "Darth Vader" case.
He turned evil with hatred because he got the true knowledge of what Teyvat is and what Celestia did to Khaen'riah.
He joined the Fatui because of his thirst for justice and also because of Pierro the leader.
I also believe that he will be a Hydro character because that element fits perfectly his personality.

I do believe capitano is more than a regular human, also that he is insanely strong, due to tartaglia's comments on him, now, if he is the first harbinger besides pierro, he is insanely powerful, which makes sense to why he questioned dottore about scara's whereabouts, giving orders, as well as scara disliking him, a duty-dedicated character that to him and to the others he may seem heavy, annoying and such, however, as said before, the bragging can be done by the subordinates, not him, hyping him up and all
Also, if Varca said he was stronger, then Varka is on archon level

So far Capitano is the only harbinger with no negative statements. He has been known to be chivalrous and strong even someone like Scaramouche didn't say anything negative about him. Fatui members including Childe either admires him for his strength or respect him. Varka's letter further prove this when he doesn't seem to bother others instead he somehow helped him in his situations as well as he speaks highly of his strength.

Man is literally the opposite of his version in Commedia Dell'arte where he basically just an all talk but no action as he always run away of being scared to fight anyone who he thinks is strong. While genshin seems to potray him as someone who don't talk much and lets his actions speaks for itself

From the trailer, how he described that signora's death wouldn't affect their progress, it just sounds like someone who would have the biggest overview of the situations out of all the harbingers (except the Jester)

In mika's story, capitano is said to have blue glowing eyes when mika first met him. Like, actually glowing even in the dark. Bro is basically sans from undertake. You know you're dead when you encountered someone with glowing eyes who's not even an Archon.

Capitano is definitely one of the most anticipated Harbingers of mine. I hope we get to see what he can do soon.

Capitano is my favorite character in the genshin, he is very cool and mysterious, there are so many questions and secrets around him, what is hidden behind his mask, where does he get such power, is he really as fair and good as he is described?It has to be some kind of plot twist.I like him with his character and extraordinary and badass design, his character, unlike other fatui, is one that has not been described negatively, he seems to be a reasonable and calm guy who just does his job and has the will to crush the gods, which sets him apart from the rest of the fatuis.I think he will be extremely fair, fanatical in his beliefs, and respectful to strong rivals, I can't wait for him in Natlan, I hope he really is the first harbinger and will be able to defeat archon and mc, show me an intimidating and serious character, and not another punching bag.

Considering who Hoyo cast as the Japanse voice of Capitano, this is one character I am looking forward to hear once he makes his in-game appearance.
FYI, Capitano's Japanese voice actor is Ken Narita. You may know him as Sesshomaru from Inuyasha, and Jeremiah Gottwald from Code Geass. In addition, he also inherited the roles of Bright Noa from the Gundam franchise and Hajime Saito from Rurouni Kenshin since the death of the original voice actor, the late Hirotaka Suzuoki.

Being ranked close to Dottore after knowing about his Segments makes me think what kind of power he possesses. Just in a spectrum of ‘war’, how much war can one being hold in himself

I cannot wait to see Capitano lore, that man has been an object of my fascination for such a long while.

I have garnered up some ideas. One idea that popped up into my head was that he could be the familiar of The Tsaritsa. As so far we have not seen what her familiar could be like or if she even had one.

And what is under his mask will forever be my favorite question. Is it a darth vader situation where it helps him live, is it just for show, is it for shame of what he is under the mask?

Personally I think he looks like Kevin Kaslana from Honkai impact
