How to Open and Close a Captive Bead Ring

bro I spent literally 2 hours trying to get my friends captive nose ring back in we used plyers and tweezers and eventually just gave up

I can never put my own back in, the holes are way too small, I always have to go to a shop to get it back in if it falls out
