Just bought my Quad Cortex today and right out the box I am amazed. The Roland twin chorus, Marshall, and Red 5150. Just those 3 sounds without editing anything make this worth every dollar. I am floored how dynamic this is. It actually sounds like the best amp I use to own. The way the bass responds and digs in. I am floored. I can't believe how tight this is with ZERO NOISE.
Shocking.

I also bought the ToneXone pedal last month and they are worlds apart. The sound is there, but the soul is not. It still sounds like a solid state. The QC is something else entirely. I am very happy and cannot recommend people - no matter how long - save up and buy this. I used it as my interface for the hell of it and it is beautiful.

Ive had a Kemper for years, QC is on its way. Having never touched a QC, I appreciate this video.

Thank you for this video! You inspired me to go through and properly gain stage all my presets to suit my main (loudest) guitar and then adjust accordingly when using my quieter passive guitars.

Do you suggest leaving the volume knob all the time at 100?

Hi, thanks for you video I learned quite a bit. However, regarding setting up the input gain, it should be set to 0 db for most players, otherwise it's like having a boost pedal constantly on in front of the amp and can make it almost impossible to get chimey tones with some guitars, particularly humbuckers.
The amp models are setup to receive a normal guitar level input just like a real amp, you don't need to boost it. If you want more gain you can use the amp's gain.

Thanks for this vid. Do you usually want your master volume to be at 100? And then adjust the gain of the input?

Hey Dustin I got a question about the quad Cortex I'm using a finger hot rod devil. The 4 cable method. In the tones And the tone sounds muffled what am I doing?

Great video man! Question! What if want to put down my guitar for a minute and use QC as an audio interface and just listen to music from my Macbook via Spotify, Apple Music or on youtube? Can I do that? Is it just a matter of keeping it connected to my mac via USB, having monitors connected to the two XLR outputs and having the QC turned on?
