I LOVE how they kept the thing from the Bayverse where they still aren't completely done transforming sometimes. Like they'll start walking, and parts are still moving and shifting into place!

UGH!! It's *SO* damn sick!! The Bayverse had a lot of that and I loved it!

There's a certain crescendo to how the filmmakers deal out transformation scenes; first the quick change of the Insecticons, barely able to recognize any transformation. Then an obscured shot of Optimus - a tease - followed by Arcee transforming almost off-camera. Then finally when you're left wanting a full transformation scene, boom: They give you the POV autobot (Mirage), the star of the show (Optimus), and the golden child (Bumblebee) all in quick succession. Each finally given the screentime for a full transformation.
Pretty brilliant.
