Yes! So happy to see Overrides continuing to get updated. Blender does just about everything I need it to do already, and I think this is the last piece of the puzzle it was missing for me. Very exciting :D

39:00 The court seems to imply that you can reimplement an API without violating the GPL license. Which means that one could create a MIT licensed API, and then the Blender Addon could say it is implementing features for the MIT licensed API and if just happens to run on Blender as well. I don't know how far that goes, but we'll see.

It is difficult to take advantage of all the new features until Blender get's some significant performance improvements in the very core of the program. All the features look great "on paper", but once a project gets heavier, everything slow down that much that one must use many inconvenient workarounds just to finish the project somehow.
For example just try to create 1M vertices mesh and weight / vertex paint it...
I would exchange all the new features we got in the last 3 years for good performance.

At 23:30, The New lock icon should be replaced by Ctrl+Click on camera icon to lock it and again Ctrl+click to unlock it.

Hi, I ran into issues with overrides when using Custom Properties to drive values in my Shaders. I made the Custom Properties, overridable. However, when I make the Library Override, it seems to break the link between the Custom Properties and the driven attributes. I'm not sure if this is the expected behaviour at the moment.

What I noticed is that the attributes are still being driven by the original Custom Properties not the overriden versions. I hope that makes sense. Keep up the good work though! Looking forward to further improvements :)

I wonder what is going on with the asset browser/manager it didn't make it to 2.92 and now it also isn't in 2.93 . I really need that one in production.

That GPU-fluid-dynamics open-source project looks really promising tho, I hope that someone will make a usable GUI because I will never in my life try to compile and use a raw programm on its own ever again lol

When we will be able to make Collection related overrides?
Example for material overrides:
1. Create newCollection
2. Link object(s) to newCollection
3. Create material overrides for all linked objects that are existing in newCollection only

I suspect something like the fracture modifier should be possible with geometry nodes - if not right now, then eventually.

With this white speckles, damn all this time, I thought that I done sth wrong with lighting have to try it out, camera lock great idea it should be like this since the beginning great change now I can remove this from quick shortcuts.

when are we going to upgrade the sculpting. im a heavy blender user and i wish i could use the sculpting properly in blender... its still very buggy and cant handle sculpting like other software (*cough Zbrush cough*).
any new additions for the sculpting in the near future?
