LAHORI FISH FRY

Ingredients

250 grams boneless fish fillet, cut into 2 inch pieces
1 tablespoon coriander seeds
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
1 teaspoon carom seeds
1 tablespoon dried pomegranate seeds
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
Salt to taste
A pinch black salt
1 egg
Juice of ½ lemon
2-3 tablespoons gram flour
Chaat masala for sprinkling

Method

1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
2. Grind together coriander seeds, caraway seeds, carom seeds and pomegranate seeds to make a fine mixture.
3. Take fish in a bowl. Add ground powder, ginger-garlic paste, salt, black salt, egg, lemon juice and mix. Add gram flour and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
4. Deep-fry the marinated fish pieces in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
5. Sprinkle some chaat masala on top and serve hot.
