Camp Hero Montauk Base Housing Tour 1994

In this video, we explore the former Base Housing section of Camp Hero. The buildings were a mix of Older WW2 Army barracks and facilities (which were disguised as regular homes, to appear as a small fishing village to avoid air raids) and also newer Air Force Barracks and other structures built on as additions. Sadly, only a few of the buildings remain, as most were demolished between 1999-2001.

Was the fallen door (at 1:31 to 1:37) a door for the "LSD" house? Did the sign on the door say "PICKLED BLDG" or something else?

I long wished to have a chance to see this place when I was younger. My family grew up across the sound in Rhode Island where the radar tower was always in sight on a clear day but I didn't get a chance to visit it all until last year. It was nice to see the Concrete Cottage on Radar Hill in person but when walking through it all it felt so sparse. It's amazing to see footage of all these buildings that once were but are no more. Thank you for sharing them and preserving this history!

At 0:29 either thats a German Shepard in the bushes maybe 2 of them but I think that it could be DM just to the right of that tree close to where you took the shot you can't stop from seeing those ears and maybe another below it possible and also at 0:52 to the right of the window on the left of that building that your filming squatting down near the bottom right corner of that window possible and at 1:54 to the left of the chimney something dark shape -shifting play the video through and watch in it start looking like it has legs after watching a couple seconds and to the left more the camera pans more to the left and it looks like large cryptic creatures larger and black possibly 2 more as it plays and at around 2:00 it looks like a possible BF on the far left on the right of the bushes to the left and at 2:02 2 more come in on the left large and very dark possible!And at 2:41 centre screen back past that railing something dark greyish but with the light it has a green to it and at 2:56 up in that large tree zoom in there possibly a few faces up in that tree and to the right on the ground possible some there also!
