I love this Cadillac so much they get so loud and angry sounding, I was at a bass comp in Texarkana and a guy drives by on the main road going at least 140. it was a show stopper I think almost 5, 000 people came to compete, but we all just started yelling “you heard that” and we could still hear him almost 8min later blaring down the street. so far away and we all just keep silent listening for 8 long minutes with shocked expressions definitely one of my top 5 favorite cars.

due to some chevy caprice ppv having north of 8k idle hours, I'd highly recommend boring and replacing the pistons with some wiseco boost pistons

trust me, I lsa swapped a 2014 with a L77 the rods and pistons ended up being the flaw on a 90k mile car with 12k idle hours
each hour is equivalent to 30 miles driven

If I wanted a CTS-V (which I do) I would buy an actual CTS Wagon (about $12k+/- KBB), then source the engine and other parts. Between possibility of finding a CTS Wagon with a dead V6 and donor car, probably a Camaro SS or ZL1 that is wreck but has a good engine and transmission, you could probably get both cars for $12k then have $13k for parts. A 2015 Camaro ZL1's engine makes 580hp to the crank, wouldn't be hard with $13k to make it 650hp wheel. Grant it I would probably just leave the engine alone other than exhaust, intake, and tune. Spend the rest on tires, brakes, and suspension. Plus you can recoup money from the parts Camaro to add to the budget.

i like watching these videos because usually the price of the car you start with is enough for a down payment for the car you’re benchmarking. you can’t finance all the performance parts and people don’t have half the cost of the benchmark car on hand so you’ll get the cts v beater in about 2 years give or take! or be turn in your lease by then of a cts v

Most guys that want to buy a CTS-V buy it not just for it's stock performance but it's looks. These guys don't build cars they buy cars and pay others to improve them for the greater good. This is just what someone who has the ability to do these modifications would do. I personally would have gone with a few different parts but it's definitely a awesome caprice. 🇺🇲

a 6lL VE caprice in aus is about 15k, if it has 400, 000kms on it, it's 30-40k if it has less than 100k
