How do the TaylorMade Stealth irons perform?

TaylorMade have slimmed down their game improvement irons line-up for 2022 with the smaller, sleeker Stealth, but also moving down to just one game improvement iron model.

We love the new elegant design of the new TaylorMade Stealth irons, but just how well do they perform?

Thanks for a great video. I went to the local golf shop after watching this, and a couple of other reviews. After trying several different iron brands and shaft combinations I ended up choosing the TaylorMade Stealth with Graphite Shaft/Sr. Flex. During the fitting I just kept coming back to these clubs. They felt great, were incredibly accurate, and the distance was awesome. I consistently hit the 7 iron between 145-150 yds. with an average deviation from center line of about 14ft. The other clubs I tried did not even come close, or at least not for me. I ordered the 6-PW, AW, SW, 1/2" shortened and 2up on lie angle. I can't for them to get here after the April 1 ship date. Thanks Hannah...nice review. If you're carrying your 5-iron 165+ yards into a brisk headwind in cold conditions -- you're doing a lot better than me 😁. I may have missed it, but I'd be curious to know what the lofts on the Stealth 9 and 5-iron are. Thanks again.

TM game improvement irons are typically more "clicky" than say Mizunos. How was the sound of the TM stealths?

I'm surprised that you suggest that this style of club would thought to be inconsistent when a primary objective of its design (and that of game improvement clubs generally), is to offer greater consistency. Nice review though.

I have these in the stiff with about an 85 mph swing speed and my gapping is about 20 yards. It's a bit of an issue. I'm not entirely happy with them but maybe I'll get used to it over time.

hello, I am handicap 10 do you think this iron will suit me I am 52 years old I have a moderate speed swing, I am looking for an easy to play series, with a gain in distance. Last question the lofts being lower the apex is it not too low, and given the orientation of the face the trajectories do not pull too much to the left? thank you

ya, good golfers using clubs for a newer golfer, get a rookie to try them and see what happens, that is what I would like to see, or you should purposely hit some bad shots and see the results, also at a lower swing speed
