I like what you said about blending, "Im not doing anything fancy" keep it simple. "Don't overthink it, it's just paint" 👊👊

I have a DV1 digital clear with the c1 cap. I agree with Brian, it doesnt sling Clear like my Sata 4000B, or 5000, but, where temps are barely borderline to paint, the slower DV-1 sure helps prevent runs. Love the pattern. I use a GTI Pro-lite for base and love it.

Excellent, love the lack of dramatics and your no nonsense approach. Like the music, too, not overly aggressive or grating.

I almost bought the DV1. I'm a hobbyist. Couldn't justify buying two $600 guns, one for base and one for clear. I opted for the GTI pro lite and plan on using it for both base and clear. I don't want junk tools like harbor freight. I'm ok with spending a bit more.

I got a big blending tri coat job today using the DV-1. The DV-1 does good on pearl. The O pattern gives more even coats so a good painter can get a perfect match. I especially like it on candy paint jobs they're perfect.

Hey man it's awesome you help out the kids your a good dude keep up the awesome work I paint daily and I've learned a lot from you I only use cheaper guns myself cause I'm cheap lol but I've been using this black widow from harbor freight hte 1.3 for clear and lvhp 1.7 for base and never had a problem with them I do keep them clean and take excellent care of them going on 4 years now.

I was considering this exact combination. I ended up choosing the LPH400 and WS400 supernova combination. I already have a GTI pro-lite and an FLG5

It looks awesome and you're right it's a little bit of both, I've been using a $250 gun for many years and it works just fine. With bright colors especially any red or maroon, on a partial car paint job, I always recommend to the client that I paint the whole car especially insurance jobs because of the weathering of the unpainted panels you will see a difference. I noticed as you were first driving it out (13:20), the rear doors looked faded compared to what you had painted

Love your content. Would like to see you do a video using ebay paint. You can buy a gallon of red for $150 compared to $600 at paint store. Be interesting to see the pros and cons of the cheap paint compared to the high quality paint your used to working with.

Hey bud, just wanted to take a minute to tell ya that I’m kinda new to the paint scene, unfortunately I waited till 56 yrs. old to really get into it but I figure I still have a few more years to practice! Lol! Your videos are best ones I’ve watched as far as trying to learn how to properly do this, very helpful, I’m figuring because you was a teacher at one time is why your are so very clear on your procedure! Thank ya very much for your videos they are very helpful! If I can ever figure out how to get on your store website I’ll get a couple shirts from ya as a thanks for all ya do! Thanks again!

Love to see you bring someone in with no experience and see how they do. Maybe a kid that has rattle canned a fender or 2 but no education or work experience in what they are doing

So if I got this correct you were around 8-9 inches away on that first coat of clear. Then lowered the psi and increased fan to move in to being 4-5 inches away to lay the clear on a little thicker/wetter for the final coat. Love the videos and tips/tricks I pick up in them.
Just so you know the link in the description for the Kiwami is for a 2.0 tip unless that's what your are suggesting for that gun. 👊🍻

Love how humble you are 👍 keep up the amazing work. I use dv1 for basecoat don't think you can beat it, I just wouldn't listen to people when they say you have to go one size down on the fluid tip. Iwata ws400 seems to be my go to clear coat gun, it would take a lot to get me to come away from that gun 😎😎

I currently own a devilbiss tekna pro lite, a satajet 4000b hvlp 1.3 and a satajet 4000b rp 1.2....I find myself using the devilbiss most often but man that satajet rp will lay down some slick clear!
